Parking is free, but please ensure you print out and display the parking pass. The attached document also lists a map where visitor parking is located for the ASLRITC Parking Garage, Carl DeSantis Building.

South Florida IT Pro Camp 2012

We are pleased to announce the second annual South Florida IT Pro Camp on Saturday, July 21st 2012 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale.

Parking and admittance to this even is free. Lunch will provided. Please Register soon and let friends and colleagues know about this event.

Join system administrators IT professionals and database professionals in addition to managers at all levels in Florida that work with Microsoft technologies for an “IT Pro Camp”. IT Pro Camps are free, one day learning event for anyone seeking professional development. This event serves IT professionals and students with a focus on IT Pro related technologies. IT Pro Camps offer a conference style learning environment free of charge to attendees and is open to presenters of all backgrounds and expertise.

South Florida IT Camp 2011 Post Event Update

Congratulations to all participants in the 1st South Florida IT Camp presented by the IT Camp Committee and the Florida IT Server Group on Saturday, July 23rd 2011. It was a spectacular day with an amazing group of speakers and presentations with 175 attendees present. The event hosted at Nova Southeastern University included a full day of learning new technology and the latest best practices being implemented today. New infrastructure views and solutions were gained by Dell’s Equalogic presentation, new PowerShell cmdlets showcased by Microsoft MVP’s Chad Miller and Maximo Trinidad, and many more. We are extremely fortunate to have superb sponsors for the 1^st IT Camp Event.

Dell provided support for the event and also presented the latest in Equalogic storage and their position in the market.
Microsoft sponsored the event with all of the good eats and treats as well as a cool Xbox 360 with Kinect. Blain Barton the grandfather of IT Camp delivered a great presentation of Office 365. A big thank you to Blain for being the reason for an IT Camp and great support for making it happen.
Intel sponsored the event and provided very valuable information for the new chips and technological advancements they are making and what to look out for.
O’Reilly provided the books for raffle and has also been a great support in the technical community.
